So, we got home from work today to find we'd been burgled. They took my MacBook, Mike's PC, our xbox 360 (gutted- all our pinatas on viva pinata!) a digital camera, a hard drive for my laptop, our small tv (which didn't work anyway), and that's about it. Oh, and they made off with it in our nice Monsoon duvet cover. bastards. i'm typing this on the Wii. it's v slow. yup, the n00b burglars left a wii, a PS2, a brand new guitar and some very expensive jewellery. i was sooo upset at first but now i'm just pissed off, and pretty relieved it wasn't worse. thank god the cat is ok and nothing of deep sentimental value is gone. they totally trashed the place but i can't see anything is broken. it's just gonna be a hell of a tidy up! gah. i.m so mad. sorry for the shitty typing. oh well. fuckity fuck fuck.

So, I was looking at some of ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) uglybusiness's gorgeous work earlier, and decided to try making a banner...hehe. I've never done anything bigger than an icon before so this is very much a first attempt! Credit goes to the aforementioned uglybusiness for the textures I used.
